Comparison of Retiree Medical Bay Area Hospitals
This month we would like to offer a comparison of retiree medical benefits offered by some hospitals in the Bay Area.
The following information was extracted from the most recent collective bargaining agreement of each hospital and is a general summary of retiree medical benefits that each hospital provides.

CRONA Elections
The CRONA elections for Executive Board, Area Representatives, Negotiation Committees, Bylaws Committee, Ballot and Election Committee, Finance Committee and Contingency Committee will be conducted electronically and via U.S. Mail this coming October. The membership will also be voting on the CRONA proposed 2008 budget. CRONA members in good standing are eligible to vote. Service Fee nurses are not eligible to vote.
If you chose to vote by mail, paper ballots will be mailed to your last known address by October 16, 2007. For your vote to be counted, Safevote needs to receive your ballot by mail no later than 12:00 midnight, November 4, 2007. If you do not receive your paper ballot by October 19, 2007, please contact the Ballot Committee at 408-246-3867 or email coleensalsbery@yahoo.com.
If you chose to vote on-line, electronic voting will be accessible beginning at midnight October 19, 2007 and ends at midnight November 4, 2007. Please check your junk box, bulk mail or spam blocker. If you do not receive an email with the subject matter “CRONA Ballot” by October 20, 2007, please contact the Ballot Committee at 408-246-3867 or email coleensalsbery@yahoo.com.
