2009 CRONA Educational Scholarship Criteria

CRONA will award 7 scholarships in December to member applicants who meet the following criteria:

1. Seniority based on adjusted hire date.
2. Worked at SHC and/or LPCH more than 12 months at the time of application.
3. CRONA member in good standing (Bylaws Article IV.).
4. Priority is given to those who have not received a CRONA Scholarship.
5. Enrolled in study of nursing or a related field.

Selection:

Recipients will be selected from candidates who successfully complete the application process and submitted the following documents prior to the deadline:

1. CRONA Scholarship Application Form (available on the CRONA website) www.crona.org
2. Proof of registration and payment of fees (copy of the course registration form from the institution and cancelled check, credit card payment).

The above documentation must be submitted prior to the deadline of: Saturday, December 12, 2009.

Hand delivered to an officer: no later than 12 midnight December 12, 2009.

Emailed to crona@crona.org: no later than 12 midnight December 12, 2009.

A list of the eligible applicants will be presented at the 2nd Board meeting in December. Recipients will be selected from this list according to the degree to which they meet the above criteria.

Disbursements will be made no later than December 31, 2009.
